The Youth Choir of the Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova Foundation was founded in September 2006, as the focal point of an educational project specifically aimed at younger generations. One of the objectives of such a project was to further develop the role of cultural referent of the Theatre for the city by involving young people: from simple show goers, they could transform into the real protagonists of the activity of the artistic seasons. <\/p>\n

Thanks to the choir’s activity, not only the young choristers but also their families have had the opportunity to approach and become familiar with an institution (the opera house) often perceived as distant, if not, at times, completely unknown, but which by its very nature holds the value of a privileged driver of not only cultural and artistic values but also social ones.<\/p>\n

Growing up with music is therefore, for the singers of the Teatro Carlo Felice Youth Choir, a tangible reality: over the course of the artistic seasons from 2006 to today, hundreds of girls and boys of various ages (children from the age of eight up to girls up to eighteen are involved in the choir) have had the opportunity to develop their musical skills, to experience the process of staging an opera\/symphonic production, and to perform alongside renowned performers, earning the interest and appreciation of both critics and audiences. Numerous performances involving the Youth Choir have been recorded and broadcast nationally by RadioRai. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
