{"id":15340,"date":"2023-01-23T11:01:23","date_gmt":"2023-01-23T10:01:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/operacarlofelicegenova.it\/spettacolo\/dante-allopera\/"},"modified":"2023-05-23T21:55:58","modified_gmt":"2023-05-23T19:55:58","slug":"dante-allopera","status":"publish","type":"show","link":"https:\/\/operacarlofelicegenova.it\/en\/show\/dante-allopera\/","title":{"rendered":"Dante all\u2019opera"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">A special screening of <strong>DANTE ALL&#8217;OPERA<\/strong>, a television show that the <strong>Fondazione<\/strong> <strong>Teatro Carlo Felice<\/strong> di <strong>Genova<\/strong> has produced in 2021 to celebrate the art and figure of <strong>Dante Alighieri<\/strong> seven hundred years after his death, in collaboration with <strong>Classica HD<\/strong> (Sky, channel 136).<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><em>Dante all\u2019Opera<\/em> is a journey through two worlds. On the one hand, women: the many historical figures and legendary heroines who inhabit the Divine Comedy; on the other hand, music, that is, the works of the authors who, from Purcell to Donizetti, Debussy to Puccini, drew on Dante in their works. A path taken in the certainty that Dante and melodrama are two pillars of our identity and culture.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-fe9cc265 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Piero Maranghi<\/strong> guides us on this journey, accompanied by philologist <strong>Elisabetta Tonello<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Six internationally renowned singers &#8211; <strong>Sara Mingardo<\/strong>, <strong>Serena Gamberoni<\/strong>, <strong>Daniela Cappiello<\/strong>,<strong> Francesca Dotto<\/strong>,<strong> Giorgia Rotolo<\/strong>and<strong>Marta Torbidoni<\/strong> &#8211; perform opera arias related to the theme, with <strong>Orchestra<\/strong> and <strong>Chorus<\/strong> of <strong>Opera Carlo Felice<\/strong> <strong>Genova<\/strong> conducted by <strong>Michele Spotti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Other stars of <em>Dante all&#8217;Opera<\/em> are Genoese artist <strong>Vanessa Beecroft<\/strong> and young violinist <strong>Giovanni Andrea Zanon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Experts in the field such as musicologist <strong>Silvia Corbetta<\/strong> and professors <strong>Alberto Beniscelli<\/strong> and <strong>Biagio Santorelli<\/strong> help us explore the different themes of the play-Dante and music, Dante and women, Dante and Genoa.
