On the centenary of the death of the great composer from Lucca, the graphic novel retraces the human and artistic life of Giacomo Puccini, starting with his education in his home town and then his studies in Milan, from there to his first theatrical successes and his great national and international successes. A light-hearted tale with amusing anecdotes (his puns, the bohemian club he created with his Lucchese friends), but rigorous in its historical reconstruction.
The aim of the book, therefore, is to deal with the figure of Puccini in an original way, addressing not only the audience of melomaniacs who already love him passionately, but also those who, perhaps interested in the comic genre, approach him without any particular knowledge of his popular theatre.
