Marta Domingo returns to the Royal Opera House Muscat with her highly successful production of La Traviata, featuring Verdi’s iconic score conducted by Plácido Domingo. First performed in 2019, set in the hedonistic world of the 1920s, a time of economic uncertainty and social change, it is the perfect backdrop for the story of a modern woman, surrounded by wealthy men, navigating the complicated and delicate details of true love. Yusif Eyvazov stars as Alfredo with Juliana Grigoryan making her debut as Violetta. This extraordinary work is enriched by the Compañía Antonio Gades, which adds flamenco choreography to the drama.
