Not just a simple selection of famous pieces, but a true audio narrative that blends cinema, music and collective memory. With The World of Disney in Orchestra, the world of animation meets the magic of live music, reawakening a sense of wonder and amazement in every member of the audience.
‘With The World of Disney in Orchestra, we want to take everyone, adults and children alike, back to that enchanted place where anything is possible,’ says Diego Basso. “Disney music has the unique ability to unite different generations, cultures and worlds. Every song tells a story, evokes an emotion, and represents a fragment of our childhood. When heard live, accompanied by an orchestra and choir, these melodies reveal their full power: they are not just songs for children, but part of a great collective narrative that continues to thrill audiences of all ages. Conducting this concert means accompanying everyone on a journey through memories, dreams and shared wonder.”
The project, produced by AVA Sound Live Music, is hosted at the Carlo Felice Theatre during the festive season to welcome a more diverse audience through various forms of entertainment.
