Transitus. The sky of Francesco

Presentation of the new version of the composition “Transitus. Il cielo di Francesco” by Cristian Carrara, commissioned by the Teatro Carlo Felice

The score, inspired by the collection of Gregorian chants for the Saint’s Transitus, unfolds as a sacred performance that combines music, movement, and contemplation. The work invites the audience to relive Francis’s final earthly journey in an atmosphere of intense emotional engagement, weaving together his last words, liturgical tradition, and a contemporary musical language capable of renewing the relationship between ritual and listening.
