Verso il tempo delle donne

Three evenings of debate to investigate the present, to look at better worlds, for women and men, together

“For eleven years, Tempo della Donne has been investigating the present through testimonies and comparisons, looking at the actions needed to build better future worlds, for women and men, together. – explains Maria Luisa Agnese, journalist for Corriere della Sera – This year’s edition is dedicated to the theme of work, and for the first time it will continue until September. We are pleased to inaugurate it in Genoa, with the Liguria Region, on a day dedicated to women’.

Between interviews, conversations and lectio magistralis, ‘Towards Women’s Time’ leads into the current economic, professional and social scenario, focusing on the role of work to guarantee independence and freedom to the individual, and on the paradigm shifts still needed, from behavioural and gender stereotypes to educational and family models.

Opening the three evenings, all from 6.30 p.m. at the Teatro della Gioventù, will be the lectio magistralis by Luciano Fontana, editor of Corriere della Sera (6 March); Venanzio Postiglione, deputy editor of the newspaper (7 March); and Barbara Stefanelli, deputy editor of the newspaper and creator of il Tempo delle Donne (8 March). In the following meetings, the important topics will be discussed in depth by journalists from Corriere della Sera, La27esimaOra and iO Donna, such as Maria Luisa Agnese, Andrea Laffranchi, Manuela Croci and Paola Piacenza, and prestigious guests.
